Bill Cunningham - New York

I finally got around to seeing this movie . . . it was amazing, and I highly recommend it.  It's a story about an incredible man, artist and fashion enthusiast - Bill Cunningham. It really reminds you to hold on to your passions and to always pursue them.

Alice + Aaron | Save the Date

Hello & Happy Monday!  I wanted to share some lovely Save the Dates I did for some dear friends of mine – Alice and Aaron.  The couple is getting married this year, and I'm just so excited for them!  Their wedding style is very natural with hints of classic elegance. I thought creating a natural watercolor wash and custom typography would be fun and fitting for this couple. We printed on textured paper, so the watercolor wash looks painted on each Save the Date.  Also, how fun are her colors?!  Blue and Key Lime Green, so fresh and modern – Enjoy!

Sneak Peak - Milk & Honey

I've been working quite a few new projects recently, so I thought I'd share one of them – remember this project?

Well here is the final version of the logo AND their business cards.  I'm really happy with the final logo, and I can't wait to start on the advertising and packaging! Milk & Honey French Macaroons was started by a couple of dear friends, they are planning a few events (and a website launch) in the near future so once the details are figured out, I'll be updating about that here.

I'm so excited for them, and even more excited about trying all their yummy macaroon flavors - it's a tough job but someone has to do it. ;-)

Branding is Important

Hello everyone, sorry for my long hiatus.  I've been working hard, been super busy and have not updating my blog as I should be – apologies all around.  Well I've got new work to share, and I'm really excited about some upcoming projects.  So getting ready for some blogging! :-)
First, I thought I would share some things that should look familiar to you. I firmly believe that branding is SUPER important – that being said – I don't think I've ever shared ALL of Honey Press's branding.  Shame on me! So here it is, I really love all the contrast between the colors and the textures.  I think it keeps everything casual but really fresh looking. If you've ordered goods from Honey Press Studios I'm sure some of these things look familiar.  :-)  Enjoy!

must watch this

As someone who has an interest in fashion, (but not always the time to "make it work") I can not wait to see this!  I think clothing is such a wonderful source of inspiration for design and overall just makes you feel good.  It's amazing how a cozy sweater can make you forget how cold and dreary it is outside. Or how a dress (and shoes duh) can make you feel fablous on a special night out. Bill Cunningham is the blogger behind The Sartorialist.  I check this site often, his photography is amazing, and I think each image tells a little story about the clothes and the person in them. Enjoy!
